Pittsburgh Corning's THICKSET® Block, a hollow glass block, with its "extra thick" block face and no exact number - thick face has three times the face thickness of standard glass block units and offers a viable option in applications not requiring the strength of solid three inch thick VISTABRIK® solid glass blocks.
THICKSET® Block's ENDURA® Pattern has narrow flutes which provide moderate light transmission and afford maximum privacy. The VUE® Pattern provides maximum light transmission and good visibility. The DECORA® Pattern with its distinctive wavy undulations provides maximum light transmission with subtle distortion.
All THICKSET® Block sizes and patterns carry 45-, 60- and 90-minute fire ratings as a UL® Window Assembly, and have a superior Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 50.
